I have seen some of the devices returned for anlaysis and many times we can attribute the failures to not having the devices regularly inspected to ensure issues are not present that could affect operations. It seems like users may not look at these devices as equipment that will need routine maintenance. Depending on the severity of the environment some applciations will need to have more frequent checks. Users should also keep track of drops. A device that experiences numerous drops my be more susceptible to damage than one that has not.
