Does anyone know of any applications or have any experience manipulating camera files? What we would like to do is have a simple application where the user
1) enters an ID from within an app
2) the app verifies the ID is valid against a table
3a) and then allow the user to take pictures that would incorporate that ID in the picture's file name. For example 123-1, 123-2, 123-3 etc.
3b) alternatively the the ID could create a new folder on the OMNII, and the pictures taken in that session would be placed in the new folder.
Any help or direction pointing would be great!
Although I'm not offering any technical help here Lee, I do not think it would be difficult to develop such an application.

You'll find example code to control the camera which should get the "hardest" part done!
