i have looked everywhere for sample code for EM4x02 chip, but the only code I could find is for the EM4x50. Does anyone know where I can get sample code for the EM4x02.

Hi,
The EM4x02 tag is readonly. You should read the ID using continuous read funciton ("c") or select tag ("s").
