What a bit of Ingenuity and Modularity can bring to the construction industry

  • So :

    ·      You take a modular platform - say a workabout Pro - that's us

    ·      A first partners adds a biometric reader, and strips the unnecessary buttons and distractions - that's Coppernic in France

    ·      A second one designs an application that uses the ideal ergonomics for the construction industry and provides vital features -  that's Simeio in the UK

And you get a fantastic unique solution that delivers value to the end customer, creating something useful that simply did not exist...

è If you want to see it in action check this link : http://www.simeio.co.uk/solution/default.aspx

The question is: Is there any construction industry in your area and would this be of interest to them?

Maybe worth a call or a mention ;-)

  • Great example of open innovaton principles resulting in an ingenious product!  Can't wait to see this on IngenuityLive!  Wink

  • This is a great example.

  • This is fantastic Guy-Franck !

  • Very nice and clean integration.

Have you an idea of the expected market volume ?

  • Great example of our strategy in action - thanks Guy-Franck!

  • Belle réalisation... et surtout, bon à connaître ! Bravo.

  • Agree with James this is an excellent example and as mentioned by Dave our strategy in action, what more can we ask for

  • Wonder if they have looked at the new Omnii as I can see the biometrics working there as well?

  • Excellent example of OSM (Open Source Mobility) concept. We all need to speak loud about such excellent solutions.

  • Here's another example of using our devices in the construction industry and it involves the WAP once again. What I'm talking about is using the device equipped with an active RFID reader in laydown yards, or equipped with an HF passive RFID reader for equipment inspection/safety verification at construction sites. One very note worthy application is the one involving the Freedom Towers in NY. If you'd like to read more about some of these applications please check out our RFID case studies section at the following link http://community.psion.com/knowledge/w/content_library/rfid-case-studies.aspx.

If you have any questions about any of these applications please feel free to contact me.
