Could anyone help me with this question regarding the HF-AM1-G2.
Can this module read 2k iCLASS cards and also can it programmed data onto the cards?
Does anyone know how I can obtain the answer please?

While you can access the ISO 15693 of the tags, the cards in question have some non standard layers (ex. anticollission) which cannot be read with a standard reader unless it supports the iClass specific modifications.

We have made a prototyping of the last HID Global harware platform: the Vericlass module.
This was done in Workabout Pro, but is prototype level, we have not passed the certifications.
The Vericlass module does support the iclass protocol, which is a proprietary HID Global protocol, not supported by the HF-AM1 (and multi Iso HID family module).

The software interfacing is based on PC/SC protocol.
How far is the module away from certification?
Quite far..as the HID module is too big and cannot be easily connected on our usual interface board.
We are expecting a new OME HID module, smaller, but this will likely no happen in very short term.
It is not that difficult to make a few proto, but industrialisation job would be more challenging.

Do you mean in regards to i-class ? Or globally speaking ?
i mean i-class.
Today, we have solutions to read the i-class ID, but not the full i-class protocol.
However, there are upgrade possibilities on the HID module to make it happen, but a licence fee has to be paid to HID.
