Recently we (Psion's Industrial Design team) have been working with a team of students from Brunel University's Industrial Design department imagining the future of the Psion brand in 2021. We have been putting together a series of 3 webisodes to showcase their journey from understanding the brand, exploring their ideas and then conceptualising future possibilities.

As an Industrial Designer myself, this has been a fascinating project to work on and I'm really looking forward to seeing their concepts presented at their show, 'Made In Brunel' this week.
It would be great to hear what people's thoughts are about this project, working with universities, your ideas on Psion in 2021 or any other thoughts you have!
It was great to be a part of the Brunel project. I was lucky enough to be able to see a few drawings and concepts (not wanting to give anything away just yet) during the process of meeting the students and was amazed at the maturity and foresight to what could be in the year 2021, but I am looking forward to the show in a few days time to see how their projects materialized in the last few months/days/hours..... reminiscing from my days at university studying design I know how little sleep I had in the days leading up to my final hand in, I'm sure its not much different these days but here's to wishing all the students the best for the show..........

Mark - this has been an excellent project, from so many angles. Great to have so many fresh ideas, from fresh eyes, looking at how we can evolve what we do and how it symbolizes how we do it... Superb!
