Recently we replaced barcode scanners in Psion Teklogix 7535G2. We had Symbol 1200 scan engines and we replaced them with Symbol 1524ER scan engine. Problem is that in settings (configuration) it still shows Symbol 1200 (while physically there is different scan engine). We used right type of flex cables. When we scan bar code, on screen it says ""scanning"" but there is no scan light.
How we can force device to detect right scanner. One confusion is that even if we remove scan engine and there is no physical scanner, it still show Symbol1200 in device properties.
