Hi,
Can someone tell me if the browser in our EP10 supports HTML5?
Thanks in advance,
Jan
Does anyone have an answer to this one? How about the browser in CE.NET 6.0 as well?
John,
To the best of my knowledge, the CE 6.0 browser does not offer HTML5 support.
You may want to give the Bsquare HTML5 Rendering Engine a try.

I found this on the WEB, it might be a suitable solution. http://www.zetakey.com/index.php
http://html5test.com is a test site that will give you an HTML5 score.
IE 6 usually hits on the low teens if not lower. (I left my Windows 98 box with IE6 in a closet where it belongs.)
Google -- Used with Google Chrome uses this: http://studio.html5rocks.com/

I used the Zetakey browser for CE 5 on a WAP 3 and came up with a score of 301 out of 475.
Neat. Opera 10 only gets 148. -sean
After all, the EP10 browser with Windows Mobile 6.5 support or not support HTML5?
Thanks!

Hi Wander.
With the IE6 that is bundled with WEHh 6.5.3 the HTML5 support score is in the low Teens. (As I would expect IE6 to rate.)
However, with 3rd party softwares, HTML5 is supported with higher ratings, but these would need to be tested on any HTML5 web-based app that gets used on the EP10. (See further up for details)
HTML5 is new technology and is innovative for newer platforms with no legacy. (Like iOS, Android and Blackberry 10 platforms)
Windows Mobile / Windows Embedded Handheld has a lot of legacy, so its support expectations is for "Legacy" methods of Data capture. Thinks like Green-Screen terminal apps, and IE6/7/8 compatible web components and .NET managed code apps are the best means provided.
Hope this helps. -sean
Thanks for trying our browser.
If anyone have any problem using our browser, please let us know.

We have a client who commented on its application in HTML5 was framed better in Opera than in Zetakey. We do not know what he is developing, but the choice will be at the Opera.
It is appreciated if you or your client could let us know more details. Adding HTML5 support is top of our list. We surely want to fix it and improve ourselves.
The client claimed that the menus were not disposed correctly on the screen. He chose to develop an application . Net.
