We are facing some interesting challenges here in Brazil. We rely on specific solutions in large factories of sugar, alcohol, orange, coffee and other agricultural products and our greatest challenge is to work with real-time information in large portions, even where the cell phone signal there. Some farms are so large that its size exceeds some cities. We are testing various technologies, but have not found something really effective and capable of covering large areas at a cost / benefit interesting.
Anyone else faces this challenge?
What is the solution they are using?

We had 8530 for VMT's and 7530 for HHT's ; this was with NAVIS -TOS.

we are able to get a coverage of 800mts - 1km ( data rate @6 Mbps ) with one A8 super wifi. with 8 antennae.
the range is ofcourse environment dependent.

Prasak, Thankyou for introduce ALTAI. We are working now in a project to move a Port from Narrow Band to 2.4 Ghz. I will study about this solution, and will contact ALTAI to try the solution.
Friends, someone has tested the equipment Wavion? They are in Israel and also promise great distances with their equipment coating would WBS 2400.

Hi Wander, I think we have a solution for you. It is Super WiFi technologies that has been used extensively for out door coverage. You can visit www.altaitechnologies.com specially look at the news coverage, applications and the video. Basically, it is 360 degree outdoor coverage with 1Km radius without CPE
