our company recently buy 9 psion 9160 access points and we have problem with configuration. I use radio1 with 802.11/g mode foe edn devices and radio 2 for backbone link between AP. The problem is that i can not use 802.11/a mode for backbone link because is missing in menu. Tha AP frimware version is :
version J188e
platform PTX9160G2
Any idea how can be solved this?

could you please specify where is your company located?
Where your 9160G2 were ordered? For be used in which country?
P.S. Could be also very useful to check the serial number on the label of the connectors side.

Our company is located in Macedonia and thay are ordered from Duna Computers. Serial number of one of AP is WG102A211295

in 802.11 Settings menu select the mode of your radio card (802.11b/g or 802.11a)
then use the WDS feature to make link between your AP.

In radio settings i can't select 802.11a. I can only select b or g.
your issue has already been reported from DUNA Computer and our Engineers are working on it. A fix will be passed to DUNA asap.
