PsiWin PC connectivity software enables you to connect your Psion to your PC or laptop in order to back-up your data, install additional software and synchronise your data. This version of PsiWin offers support for Windows 98, NT, 2000, ME and XP.

Please note: This download is 25Mb in size and will take approx 2hours 30mins to download on a 28.8kbps connection. Unless you are on a fast and reliable Internet connection we recommend that you use a download manager to download this file in order that you can resume the download should it be interrupted. It is a self-extracting file which when run will unpack to your system temp folder and autorun PsiWin setup.

This is a very early and completely unsupported version of PsiWin. For customers with Series 3 range machines using Windows XP or 2000 this can be useful as it will sit alongside PsiWin 2.3.3 happily and can be used to convert Series 3 files to PC format. NOTE - This is disk 3 of 3 and you will need to download all 3 to install the application. You will also need to unzip the file to a temporary directory. We would recommend unzipping each disk file into a separate folder Disk1, Disk2, Disk3. Please be aware that Psion no longer provide any support for this application and it is provided here on an 'as-is' basis for those customers who may find it useful.

La instalación de Service Release resuelve los siguientes problemas:

Sincronización bajo Windows NT sin necesidad de privilegios de acceso de administrador.
Ahora puede crear tareas de sincronización y sincronizar información cuando haya iniciado una sesión con cualquier PC que funcione con Windows NT, independientemente de sus privilegios de acceso.

Etiquetas que contienen símbolos y caracteres acentuados. A partir de ahora, la conversión o sincronización de un archivo de datos preserva todos los caracteres de las etiquetas de la base de datos.

Archivos de datos que contengan etiquetas de tipo "Nota" Ahora puede convertir todos los caracteres almacenados en etiquetas de datos de tipo "Nota". Ya no es imprescindible respetar el límite de 255 caracteres.

Questo aggiornamento riguarda solo la versione PsiWin 2.1.

Installando Service Release si risolvono i seguenti problemi:
Sincronizzazione sotto Windows NT senza diritti amministrativi. È ora possibile impostare attività di sincronizzazione e sincronizzare informazioni quando ci si collega a un PC che esegue Windows NT, indipendentemente dai diritti di accesso.

Etichette contenenti simboli e caratteri accentati. Tutti i caratteri contenuti nelle etichette di database vengono ora conservati quando si converte o sincronizza un file di dati. File di dati contenenti etichette di tipo 'Promemoria' È ora possibile convertire tutti i caratteri memorizzati nelle etichette di dati di tipo 'Promemoria'. Il limite di 255 caratteri non è più applicabile.

Installazione di Service Release 1
Decomprimere il file in una cartella temporanea, ad esempio in C:\Temp
Fare doppio clic sul file Setup.exe e seguire le istruzioni per completare il processo di installazione.
È possibile utilizzare PsiWin/Service Release 1 immediatamente senza dover riavviare il PC.

Rimozione di PsiWin / Service Release 1
Per poter disinstallare PsiWin, è necessario prima rimuovere Service Release. Per fare questo, selezionare Impostazioni|Pannello di controllo dal menu Avvio, selezionare l'icona Installazione applicazioni ed evidenziare PsiWin Service Release 1. Quindi fare clic sul pulsante Aggiungi/Rimuovi.

Allo stesso modo è possibile disinstallare anche PsiWin.

Deze update is alleen bedoeld voor PsiWin 2.1. Deze Service Release biedt een oplossing voor de volgende problemen:
Synchronisatie onder Windows NT zonder beheerdertoegangsprivileges. Nu kuntu synchronisatietaken maken en informatie synchroniseren als u bent aangemeld op een PC met WindowsNT, ongeacht uw toegangsprivileges.

Titels met symbolen en accenten. Als u nu een Data-bestand converteert of synchroniseert, blijven alle tekens in de database-titels behouden.

Data-bestanden met titels van het type 'Memo'. Nu kunt u alle tekens in Data-titels van het type 'Memo' converteren. De limiet van 255 tekens geldt niet meer.

Service Release 1 installeren
Unzip het bestand in een tijdelijke map, b.v. C:\Temp
Dubbelklik op het bestand Setup.exe en volg de instructies om de installatie te voltooien.
U kunt PsiWin/Service Release 1 direct gebruiken. De PC hoeft niet opnieuw te worden opgestart.

PsiWin / Service Release 1 verwijderen
Als u, om welke reden dan ook, PsiWin wilt verwijderen, moet eerst de Service Release worden verwijderd.
Selecteer hiervoor Instellingen|Configuratiescherm in het menu Start, selecteer het pictogram Software en markeer PsiWin Service Release 1.
Klik op de knop Toevoegen/Verwijderen. Vervolgens kunt u PsiWin op dezelfde wijze verwijderen.

Cette mise à jour Service Release a été conçue pour PsiWin 2.1 uniquement.
Elle permet de résoudre les problèmes suivants :
Synchronisation sous Windows NT sans privilège Administrateur Vous pourrez désormais créer et exécuter des tâches de synchronisation sur n'importe quel PC tournant avec Windows NT, quels que soient vos privilèges d'accès.

Libellés contenant des symboles ou des caractères accentués Avec Service Release 1, tous les caractères des libellés inclus dans un fichier Fiches seront conservés lors des conversions et synchronisations.

Fichiers Fiches contenant des libellés de type mémo Tous les caractères des mémos seront convertis. La limite de 255 caractères ne s'applique plus.

Installation de PsiWin Service Release 1
Dézippez le fichier dans un dossier temporaire (C:\Temp, par exemple).
Double-cliquez sur le fichier Setup.exe et suivez les instructions qui apparaissent à l'écran. Vous pouvez utiliser PsiWin Service Release 1 immédiatement, sans redémarrer le PC.

Désinstallation de PsiWin Service Release 1
Si vous devez désinstaller PsiWin, supprimez tout d'abord Service Release
Pour ce faire, sélectionnez Paramètres|Panneau de commande à partir du menu Démarrer, double-cliquez sur l'icône Ajout/Suppression de programmes et sélectionnez PsiWin Service Release
1. Cliquez ensuite sur le bouton Ajouter/Supprimer. Cela fait, vous pouvez désinstaller PsiWin en procédant de la même façon.

Bezeichner, die Sonderzeichen bzw. Umlaute oder Zeichen mit Akzenten enthalten. Beim Konvertieren bzw. Synchronisieren von Daten-Dateien bleiben alle diese Zeichen nun in den Datenbank-Bezeichnern erhalten.

Daten-Dateien mit Bezeichnern vom Typ 'Memo'. Sie können nun in Daten-Dateien alle Zeichen in Bezeichnern vom Typ 'Memo' konvertieren. Die Beschränkung auf 255 Zeichen entfällt. PsiWin 2.1 Service Release 1 installieren
Entpacken Sie die Datei in einen Ordner für temporäre Dateien, z. B. C:\Temp.
Doppelklicken Sie auf die Datei 'Setup.exe' und folgen Sie den Installationsanleitungen.
Anschließend können Sie dann das PsiWin Service Release 1 sofort benutzen. Der PC braucht nicht neu gestartet zu werden.

PsiWin 2.1 Service Release 1 deinstallieren
Falls Sie aus irgendeinem Grund PsiWin deinstallieren wollen, müssen Sie zuvor das Service-Release entfernen bzw. deinstallieren.
Wählen Sie hierzu im Startmenü 'Einstellungen|Systemsteuerung' aus, öffnen Sie das Symbol 'Software' und markieren Sie PsiWin Service Release 1. Klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche 'Hinzufügen/Entfernen'.
Anschließend können Sie dann PsiWin auf entsprechende Art und Weise entfernen.

NOTE: This service release is for users of PsiWin 2.1 only. It does not update PsiWin 2.1 to PsiWin 2.2 PsiWin 2.1 Service Release 1 addresses a number of issues, outlined below:

Synchronization under Windows NT with 'non-admin' access rights: You can now create synchronization tasks and synchronize information when logged on to any PC running Windows NT, regardless of your access rights.

Labels containing symbols and accented characters: Converting or synchronizing a Data file now preserves all characters in the database labels.

Data files containing labels of type 'Memo' : You can now convert all characters stored in Data labels of type 'Memo'. The 255 character limit no longer applies.

Only users who have experienced the problems described above, or who are likely to experience them, need to download this update.

Installing Service Release 1
Unzip the file to a temporary folder, e.g. C:\Temp
Double-click on the file Setup.exe and follow the instructions to complete the installation. You can use PsiWin/Service Release 1 straight away. It is not necessary to restart your PC.

Removing PsiWin / Service Release 1
If you need to uninstall PsiWin for any reason, you must remove the Service Release first. To do this, select Settings|Control Panel from the Start menu, select the Add/Remove Programs icon and highlight PsiWin Service Release 1. Click the Add/Remove button. You can now uninstall PsiWin in the same way.
