There is an issue with 9150 boards with 10BaseT Ethernet, where the
boot code would no longer recognize the boards properly upon power-up.
We have so far been unable to find out what has changed on the boards.
We have also heard reports from the field where 9150s with 10BaseT
Ethernet support do not always power up.
In order to solve the problem we decided that we should have two
separate builds for the 9150 boot code, where one would support 10BaseT
boards, and the other 100BaseT. Two new part numbers replace the 18860B2
that we recommended in the past. The software compatibility table is as
The Ethernet type is clearly indicated on the connector panel on the
9150 near the network connectors.
