I have downloaded instalation of MCC without SQLServer, trial and started to install. In the middle of instalation I've been asked for database definition. I have two MSSQL Servers: 2000 and 2008. Created on both servers new DB for MCC, passed test connection in both cases - but in both cases I've got error : could not read dbo.settings. The same error for any combination of SQL Server provider and SQL Server versions.
After that, mcc instalation stoped. I am not able to install MCC because of this obscure error.

Hi Peter,
Good day! You have to let MCC create its own database automatically. During the install, you just have to point it to the SQL server & create a new database.
