I need to attach external device (that require power) on EP 10 trough RS232 snap on module.
I know that Snap on module does not provide power ( http://bit.ly/MyVSiS ), so is there alternative method?

Hi Nikola.
The Existing model RS-232 Snap-In module does not provide 5V power on Pin9, but that could be provided externally to the device with an in-line connector.
It is not 5V provided by the battery of the EP10, but would need to be a common -grounded power supply (Battery and Votage Regulator) but that would require a 3rd party solution to build that.
I guess we need to see what our Sales department will look at for a Pin9 Power RS-232 solution in the future.
