How to enter MCC v8 Lockdown menu via keyboard

This question is answered

In order to exit a the MCC lockdown screen it has been possible to hit Alt+m and then scroll down in the menu and choose exit (followed by password). But with MCC v8 this doesn't seem to work anymore. I have a 7535G2/36-key/NoTouch (Fw:D181)  and MCC 8.02 build 4538. Up until MCC v7 it was possible to hit Orange+Alt+6 to get Alt+m to get into the lockdown-menu, but not anymore - terminal just answers with a long beep.

Any ideas ?

Cheers

Jan

  • Hi Jan,

    We have a ticket opened/ escalated pending final fix. As far as I know, this issue will be fixed in the next version of MCC v9.xx

    Workaround - General steps:

    1. in MCC Remote Control Device via TCP/IP
    Record Macro - to access the Admin Mode

    2. Copy the script (.CMD) generated from Step 1 into the device
    * example: AdminMode.CMD

    3. Update the MCC Lockdown Menu to include a link to the .CMD
    * I sugges using the HTML Menu template "MCC Program Menu (MCMenuN Sample)"
