I am trying to figure out how to get macro working in TekTerm application on Neo with WCE 5.0 (Previously I configured it on Omnii with WINCE5.0 with success).
I uploaded file openttmap.txt to /Flash Disk/TekTerm with following line:
I want key 'a' to work for Macro1.
Then in Settings/Control Panel/Keyboard/Macros I defined Macro1 and Macro2 (both just in case, because there's inconsistency in documentation - from my tests on Omnii with WINCE5.0 it appeared that Macro1 was 0xe056, not 0xe055 as stated in http://community.psion.com/discussions/f/68/t/11709.aspx)
Then, when I press 'a' key in OTT, nothing happens. I tried OTT_GUI_CE5_Demo_4.51.13444, and OTT_GUI_CE5_Demo_5.2.21209 (there's no Macros option in TekTerm/Parameters/System).
I have been able to confirm this issue. We are looking into it.
An alternative method to achieve this behavior within TekTerm can be to use a scancode remap (also in the Keyboard applet). If you remap your F5 (E005, BLUE 5) to Macro 2 (E056) in the Scancode remap, the F5 key will generate the macro keystrokes at all times (including when TekTerm is the foreground applicaiton).

Thank you. I hope there would be some solution or workaround soon. I know I can remap F5 to macro in Keyboard applet, but I need basic F5 functionality in other apps than TekTerm.
