  • Hot redundancy was introduced with the 9400 controllers. The 9300’s did not have this feature because they mainly used direct serial connections to their 9130 RLC’s.

  • Hi Pascal

The 9300 is also a networked controller with an add on network card installed.  It supports a form of redundancy using SNMP.  SNMP Redundancy is enabled from the command line as listed below.

snmp redu show - display redundancy parameters

    snmp redu use {true|t|1|false|f|2} - enable/disable redundancy (1 = on / 2 = off, = 2)

snmp redu addr <backup IP address> - set backup controller's IP address

    Regards

    David

  • May I add that the 9150 also supports redundancy
