Hello,

We are not able to sync between a Wapro with WIN CE 4.2 and a PC with Windows 7. Has anyone been there?

Thanks!

    Hi..try with this...

First connect the terminal to the PC using a USB cable and the required dock.

From the Desktop Right click on "Computer" and select Properties

Click "Device Manager" located on the Left side

Locate and expand the Mobile device

    Right click select update driver

Select "Browse my computer for driver software"

Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"

Expand "All devices" if needed and scroll down and select "Mobile devices"

Select Microsoft as the Manufacturer and

Select "Microsoft USB Sync" as the Model

    Click Next

    Click Yes to proceed

The device driver will be installed when done click Close

Note the Device Manager now  displays Microsoft USB Sync

You may now launch Windows Mobile Device Center or it will launch when the device is connected.

  • Hi Wander

If you use the search box at the top right of this page (oops, I see it is not labelled "Search") you will find a couple of threads discussing solutions for this:

    for example

    and

    Cheers

  • Hello Martín.

    Hope you're fine.

We have a customer with 400 7525-units. The driver was installed according your instructions, however the process must be performed by each 7525 unit we want to synchronize.

The synchronization application is used on 12 computers, so we must perform the procedure 4800 times.

There is something you can do about it?

    Thank you for your help.

    Regards.

  • Antonio,  there is a limitation in the support for devices running CE 4.2 in WMDC from MS ( support.microsoft.com/.../931937 ) unfortunately I can´t find a solution to help you...

  • You can run a virtual XP machine under Windows 7 and install the old active sync.
