Working with Nofolk Southern Auto Operations in Detroit, MI and Fostoria, OH.
1) Customer complains imager will not read 1D automotive style bar codes in direct sun light. (24/7 outdoor application). Very unhappy.
2) Imager intermittently fails to emit light when either trigger or scan button is pressed. (problem reproduceable in Hebron Depot). Concerned.

Problem occurs (intermittently) after a suspend 3 minute time out. When power is reapplied imager fails to work until cold reset.
6 units are experiencing this problem.
Any information you may have to help resolve this problem would be a big help.

The solution to the 7530G2 with SX3503 scanner intermittent stop working is to upgarde to scanner imager L029q and the OS,BOOT &PCON Code to A131n.
