WA4010 (usb to Ethernet) drivers

This question is answered

We have some applications in wich we can use our WA4010, in machines other than Psion such as tablets and netbooks. Is there any driver for Windows XP wich allows the use of the usb-to-Rj45 WA4010 ??? Thanks

  • HI,

The WA-4010 is the converter ment to use to connect the docking station and the terminal to ( example : WAP  -G2 or IKON ) to the network via LAN.

The docking station usualy requires to be powered in order for this WA-4010 to work.

You don't need any drivers for windows XP in order to use it .

    Kind regards,

    Lana

  • Hi Pablogarcia

Unfortunately the only drivers we supply for the WA4010 are the drivers that are built into our Windows CE and Windows Mobile device images.

The WA4010 is not designed or intended to work with other manufacturers mobile devices or used in the USB port of a Desktop or  Laptop using an OS such as Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Seven

     Regards

  • Hi ,

I wanted to clarify my answer.I meant that PC doesn't require and drivers to use the WA4010 for Psion  devices and we don't have any separate drivers.
