I have a customer that just bought some new batteries, with workers complaining they aren't holding much of a charge. He indicates they've never cleaned them and thinks they need to clean the contacts in the charger. He's asking if we recommend a method (alchohol, water, etc.)
On the other hand, I wonder if his chargers are playing out.
You can use isopropyl alcohol to clean the contacts.Where did you purchased batteries ? We found some batteries that can be ordered on line that are not manufactured or sold by Psion. In that case they can also damage your 7030 units.
You can take the photo of the sticker on the battery and attach it , so I can tell you if they are from Psion.
I ordered genuine product from your authorized Distribution wholesaler. But I suppose its worth checking to see if they are pulling a fast one.
Our batteries always have Psion Teklogix or Psion on them and the sticker is purple colour .
