XT10 and TR5 - CE6-MULTI-IMG-1.10.21653

This question is answered

Hello,

I´ve just upgraded a XT10 to 1.10.21653 and TR5 is avaliable on this version. But how to create a Auto Restore profile on these new TR? I´ve followed the Manual concerning put the profile onto FlashDisk\TotalRecall directory but not Auto Restore action happened.

Thanks in advance,

Leandro

  • Hi Leandro,

The reason TR only restores after a Cleanstart is because the file system on the XT10 (and XT15) is persistent.  With a persistant file system TR does not need to restore applications or files after a cold boot or a warm boot.

  • Hi Leandro,

For Total Recall v5.x, you need to go into [Manage Profile] after creating a backup profile (example Default1.pfl)

Select the profile, Default1.pfl, which you would like to update

    Hit [Next]

    then select [Set for AutoRestore]

This will copy the profile, Default1.pfl to \Flash Disk\ Total Recall which can be restored after a factory reset

  • Hi Luke,

I saw that and performed exactly as you´ve informed, but TR only restores after a Clean Start.

Is that right? On previous versions only a Cold boot was required.

    Thanks

  • Hi Leandro,

Good day!  With the Omnii devices, this is how the Total Recall behaves.  Auto-restore profile will only be loaded after a clean start.

    Thanks,
