    /Jr.

  • Hi JR,

You can use the PSION INFO packages to show the serial number of the PTX terminals via MCC.

These packages come by default with MCC version 6.03 and can be installed into previous MCC versions also.

     Below is an example screenshot.

    Lawrence

  • Hi Lawrence

Ty. for the advice. You are correct the info-pack, was std in the MCC 6.03.

I made a deployment rule for this and added it to two of the test scanners running CE 5. But somehow the main info tap in MCC is showing the same old infos still? all ideas are welcome :-)

    (scanners has been restarted.)

  • Ciao JR,

After installing the PsionInfo, you can add the info you need from the custom data:

Select the device or group -> Custom Data -> Add from the left list onto the right one.
After applying the changes, you should see all on the Custom Data tab in the Device Info:

    Hope this helps Smile

    Ciao,
    Enzo

  • Actually, you can show the serial or other data also from the tabs on the group :

Right click anywhere on the space under the tabs, select "Custom Data", select the data you want to see...

    Ciao,

  • Hi Jose,

My name is Luke with the Help Desk. I have seen this issue before and what I did at that time that resolved this problem was a "refresh" of my device connection to the MCC server. If this fails, try another device to see if the problem is terminal specific.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards,

    Luke Wakefield

  • Hi Luke, i tried to do it. but the problem persist yet, i've noted that in some devices the MCC can't get the PSIONINFO infomation, and other devices that the MCC can get the information sucessfully in short time lost the informacion in the MCC (Blank data in MCC)

if in the case that the issue is due to device/terminal what can i do for try the solve it?
