  • The add on cab contains drivers, utilities, control panel and registry settings which are unique to our devices and which are not part of the standard Microsoft Windows Mobile OS. You need to make sure you have it installed in all the devices you are working with otherwise the scanner will not work. If you can provide me with your email address I can send you the corresponding file for the OS build you're running on the device mentioned above.

  • Hello,

Did you install the scanner modules yourself or did you get the devices with the scanners installed? If you did indeed install them, did you go into boost to select the type of scanner you've installed? From what you've sent earlier it looks like you're devices are set to work with the SE 1223 HP laser pod scanner which corresponds to model WA9000-G1. You might want to check the scanner module installed in the devices you have and make sure that the model number is indeed the same. Also, as suggested earlier, please make sure you install the add-on cab on your device. Since the OS build on your devices dates back to 2008, I recommend you contact your local Psion Help Desk to obtain the cab which is most appropriate for that OS build.

  • By the way, it was suggested earlier that you reset the device. In doing so you'll need to make sure you clean start it to set it back to factory defaults. As instructed, you'll need to send the terminal into boost by pressing blue fn + enter + central scan key simultaneously for 6-7 seconds. At the prompt, you can either type .clean or .25326. Please note that you will NOT see the information you'll be typing in on the screen so press enter when you're done.
