Hello together,

is there a possibility to install file "DecodeLibrary_Install_Intermec_15.1.23585.exe" over MCC server? I make over MCC a update of operating system and have installed after OTT-agent and AddOn Code but i does not can install DecodeLibrary.

I have tested to make a Package and install it over a rule but if he want to install i get error Message: "Current Platform does not support decoding library. Decode library will not be installed"

If i start the same file direct on device it´s install without any problem.

Somebody have an idea what i can do? Or is there a CAB-file for this installer?

We expected to get the "upgrade repair" dialog, instead we get "MCC will uninstall an older version of the product before proceding. If you choose not to remove the old installation you may do so at a later date.

How to proceed without loosing database information ?

I also have problem but with WA9103-G1.

With EV15 5V variant (yellow board) - nor any reaction,

but after change board with 3,3V variant (green board) all work.

How install new endcap without replacing board?

Forum Post: EP10's dropping out Wi-Fi connection

We have been using Psion EP10's now for a few months and have some very random and strange problems with only 2-3 EP10's.

These few devices seem to drop connection and struggle auto re-connect. A few soft boots are required to get them back up and running. To me it seems to be happening when they are moving between AP's. They are all configured using the Psion Wi-Fi config not the built in Windows wireless connection. I have hard reset these devices and reloaded everything still didn't improve things. Also have swapped EP10's around in case it was a faulty AP in the network however other EP10's work with no issues in these areas.

Does anyone know of any settings I could tweak to try and improve this or solve it. I find it hard to think it's setting related as I have many more EP10's working with no issues. I'm starting to think it could be the Wireless cards in these EP10's

There may be a purchasable solution that you can integrate for your solution without having to craft a custom solution.

Hello A58300.

I would suggest trying a known serial device (rather than a Talkman T5) to see if the USB Serial Adaptor is working correctly. Since you indicate that you have PuTTY available, you can use PuTTY, or HyperTerminal to check the USB to Serial adaptor, but you will need something to connect that would confirm that it is working correctly.

I have used the "Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port" USB convverter sucessfully to talk to Serial connections on WAP3, EP10, and our T5 using Hyperterminal / PuTTY in the same mode you refer to (Although I do not have the Serial Cable for the T5 any longer! -sorry) using this USB-serial on a USB-only workstation. (Although, I use it at 115200,8,N,1 or 57600,8,N,1 myself.)
